For its appearance as the guest country at the Frankfurt Book Fair, Czechia chose the motto "Czechia – Land by the Coast". This refers to William Shakespeare's play "The Winter's Tale", in which Bohemia is located by the sea, connected by sea routes to the Kingdom of Sicily. At the international conference, 14 speakers will delve into this theme. They will present their findings on the Bohemian Sea, Bohemia by the Primeval Sea, and Captain Nemo in Bohemia.
