Mensch, Roboter! Robotik aus der Dresdner Wissenschaft

In the exhibition "Human, Robot!" you will playfully discover what robotics research looks like in Dresden - and how it relates to our everyday life. Scientists from various research institutions have developed interactive exhibits for this purpose - understandable for everyone, without any prior knowledge.

Robots are taking on more and more tasks that are too difficult, monotonous, or dangerous for humans - for example, in caregiving, household chores, or industry. Thanks to new technologies, they are working more safely and flexibly with us. Additionally, they are becoming increasingly attentive to their surroundings.

The exhibition showcases various robot prototypes and models, games, interactive stations, and also invites visitors to immerse themselves in a virtual reality experience with VR glasses. You will gain insights into a world where humans and robots communicate and interact closely. How could robots feel, and should they at all? What is behind soft robotics? How do researchers ensure that robots are safe and trustworthy? And how could they further support caregiving and agriculture?

"Human, Robot!" invites you to participate, experiment, and reflect: How much trust do you give to robots, and what do you need to be able to rely on them?

The COSMO can be visited weekly from Tuesday to Thursday, from 1 pm to 6 pm. The exhibition is aimed at science enthusiasts aged 14 and above and is free of charge.
