Recently, as we all know, a Minister of Economics tried to make politics from the kitchen table. That didn't work out. Maybe he should have tried it in the allotment garden? The Herkuleskeule, a cabaret in Dresden, believes that political cabaret fits perfectly in the garden. And that's why the cabaret artists Birgit Schaller, Johanna Mucha, and Philipp Schaller meet in the allotment garden of a colleague to rehearse a new program undisturbed. But of course, somehow current politics always interfere. This becomes nerve-wracking for the cabaret artists - and a pleasure for the audience. Philipp Schaller, who not only performs but also wrote the script, is convinced that "it is currently a very good time for political cabaret". Society is interested in politics, there are discussions, and opinions are expressed. "However, cabaret that doesn't lecture the audience but asks 'why' questions," he emphasizes. The program title already suggests that laughter will not be lacking - and with Ellen Schaller, an experienced cabaret artist, directing and contributing to the script.
