Tina Tandler & Band - Morning Songs for Saxophone

Tina Tandler is now a regular guest at the Jazz Days with concerts that are constantly sold out. This morning, the spirited saxophonist and her wonderful band will be playing her own and well-known favourites, wonderful saxophone songs: powerful and tender, exuberant and sometimes melancholically beautiful. She not only impresses with her extraordinary sound, but also with her very own way of making music an experience.

After performing more than fifty concerts with Roland Kaiser and his band in Germany, Austria and Switzerland this year, she is now looking forward to an evening with her own band in Dresden. Tina loves this city, the direct contact with the audience and her saxophone. At will, she turns her instrument into a cuddly toy or a ‘scratching brush’ and breathes life into it in a fascinating way. Sometimes, when the melody becomes very quiet, she lets it breathe audibly; a wonderful symbiosis that captures, captivates and touches the listener. And although the saxophone takes centre stage, there is always room for her top-class musical partners. You will be surprised!
