You are cordially invited to come by COSMO and exchange ideas with me to learn more about robotics from Dresden's science.
Who are you?
My name is Jens Kugelmann. I did my mechanical engineering bachelor's degree in Aachen and training as a welding engineer, and at TU Dresden, I obtained my diploma in mechanical engineering with a focus on concrete 3D printing.
Where do you work?
I work at the Barkhausen Institute in the CoRoLa (Connected Robotics Lab) group.
What are you working on?
I am working on the implementation of various demonstrators, such as the pinball machine exhibited here. Additionally, I support in creating test setups for colleagues and presenting research results.
What can one talk to you about?
You can talk to me about the development of demonstrators from a mechanical perspective, from the idea to the finished demonstrator.
What is "Forschende ganz nah" about?
In the conversation format: "Forschende ganz nah," you have the opportunity not only to explore the exhibition at COSMO but also to directly interact with researchers. You are warmly invited to come by COSMO during regular opening hours and engage with us. Feel free to ask questions about the exhibits of the current exhibition and also share your own ideas and thoughts!
