Tour: "Through the Foyers and the Concert Hall"
The Dresden Philharmonic offers discovery tours in the Kulturpalast.
Get to know the Kulturpalast Dresden in a one-hour tour! After you are welcomed at the ticket counter, our tour guides will first show you the foyers with their landmarked details and tell you about the history of the house. After strolling through the new Central Library, you will visit the heart of the Kulturpalast, the new Concert Hall. Here you will learn how, in the course of the modernisation, they succeeded in creating an optically and, most importantly, acoustically superb hall. While you test the comfortable chairs, questions about the acoustics and the technical details of the hall and the organ will be explained.
After taking a brief look at the history of the Dresden Philharmonic and some information on the events of the season, the tour ends once again in the Foyer.
